I wonder if No Time to Die is the last truly great Bond movie. Today the Broccoli’s sold the iconic movie franchise to Amazon, the algorithm anuses of the entertainment industry.

When the history of Hollywood is ultimately written, the tech takeover will be described in broad terms, like: When the internet disrupted a century-old oligopoly of film and television distributors, large digital platforms ultimately undermined and remade the creative industries in their own image. That’s true; we’re living through that disruption now.
The company that primarily sees art as a vehicle for retail sales has no class. Now they own one the classiest acts in the history of film.
Nightmare altogether.
